Ajmer blast case: Rajasthan police questions people

Jamtara (Jharkhand), May 10 (PTI) A Rajasthan police team probing the 2006 Ajmer Sharif blast case questioned some people here for counter verification in connection with the case, a senior police officer said today. "They (Rajasthan Police) came here with Devendra Gupta, who was arrested in Rajasthan in connection with Ajmer Sharif blast, for counter verification. They questioned some persons (hailing from Jharkhand)," Jamtara Superintendent of Police M P Lakra told PTI over phone. The Rajasthan police, who came here on May 6, had also picked up Mahendra from Giridih the next night and took him to Jamtara for questioning before allowing him to go. The Rajasthan Police team comprising a DIG, a SP, an ASP, a Dy SP and others, grilled Sonu Singh, Monu Singh, Bam Shankar Dubey from Jamtara and Randhir Singh from Sarath in connection with the case, the officer added.
