Mumbai, May 17 (PTI) Led by Nickel, most of the base metal prices declined at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to reduced demand from stockists coupled with weakening trend in the London Metal Exchange (LME). At the London Metal Exchange, nickel dipped USD 255 or 1.18 per cent USD 21,300 per tonne. Meanwhile, Tin and Aluminium utensils scrap moved up on mild demand from consumer industries. Nickel shed by Rs 30 per kilo to Rs 1,090 from last weekend''s closing level of Rs 1,120 and Copper armiture dropped by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 346 as against Rs 351 previously. Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar, copper sheets cutting and brass sheets cutting fell by Rs 4 per kilo each to Rs 356, Rs 384, Rs 341 and Rs 259, respectively. Copper scrap heavy moved down by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 352. Lead, zinc, brass utensils scrap and copper utensil scrap edged down by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 106, Rs 120, Rs 249 and Rs 329. However, tin and aluminium utensil scrap firmed up Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 962 and Rs 91.
