Brit women `too busy to look after their appearance`

News posted by www.newsinfoline.com

Today's British women are so busy juggling jobs and families that most of them don't even have time to take care of their appearance, says a new study.Researchers have carried out the study and found a large number of British women lead such hectic lives that they have on average only two hours' "me" time all week. That's less than two per cent of all the hours they spend awake each week. And 28 per cent have even less, under an hour a week to themselves, according to the findings. The findings, based on a survey of over 1,000 women by sweets firm Panda Licorice, also revealed that 45 per cent spend less than 10 minutes a day on hair and make-up, the 'Daily Express' reported.Seven in 10 get dressed in less than a quarter of an hour. Nearly three-quarters of women say they would love to have more time to themselves, the survey has revealed. The pressure on time means women are also more seriously neglecting their health. Nearly half of respondents questioned admitted doing less than 30 minutes' exercise a week, with nearly one in five not fitting any in at all.Only one in 10 women find the time to cook an evening meal from scratch, with four in five regularly resorting to takeaway meals, the study found.
