London, May 9 (ANI): Manchester United coach-cum-manager Sir Alex Ferguson plans build a new team around key striker Wayne Rooney.Fergie is ready to invest in players this summer, "to freshen up" as he puts it, re-arming and ready to go again after a month long holiday in the South of France. It is from his magnificently appointed villa that he will begin preparations for next season, altering United's approach to suit Wayne Rooney, The News of the World reports.Fergie is convinced he can tweak this team. He is on the lookout for a creative force in the centre of midfield, a player with the capacity to unlock the door from the centre of the park.Despite his long-held interest in Luka Modric, he is reluctant to tap up Tottenham for a third time for one of their players. In the past four years, United have paid the Spurs 48 million pounds, with Michael Carrick arriving after the 2006 World Cup and Dimitar Berbatov two years later.Neither, however, has made the expected impact.
