A commercial passenger plane crashed in northern Afghanistan on Monday with 43 people on board, including foreigners, the interior ministry said.The plane lost radio contact while flying between the capital Kabul and the northern town of Kunduz. It was carrying 38 passengers and five crew, interior ministry spokesman Zemarai Bashary told."We can confrim that a... plane has crashed over the Salang mountains with 38 passengers and five crew members on board," Bashary said.There were foreigners travelling on the aircraft, he said. The fate of those on board was not immediately clear.
