Steel Authority of India is in talks with Tata Steel and Arcelor Mittal for a joint venture to manufacture steel, Chairman S.K. Roongta said on Monday."Both Tata Steel and Arcelor Mittal have expressed interest for setting up a joint venture to manufacture steel with SAIL. We are in discussions but it is at a very initial stage," Roongta said.Nothing has been decided on the capacity and the site of the venture, he added.(Reporting by Niladri Bhattacharya; Editing by Surojit Gupta)
