Saria down on reduced offtake

New Delhi, May 17 (PTI) Saria prices declined by Rs 200 per tonne in the wholesale steel market today on reduced offtake by stockists following fall in demand. Marketmen said, fall in demand at existing higher levels mainly led to a fall in wholesale saria prices. In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 33,000, Rs 33,000 and Rs 32,800 per tone. 16-25-mm also traded lower by the same margin at Rs 33,000 per tone. Following are today''s quotations in Rs per tonne: CTD saria (Kamdhenu) 8-mm, 33,000, 10-mm, 33,000, 12-mm 32,800, 16-25 mm 33,000. Rathi tor steel : 8-mm 33,500, 10-mm 33,500, 12-mm 34,000, 16-20 mm 34,000 and 25-32 mm 34,000. Saria Jai Bharat (iso 9002) 8-mm 33,700, 10 mm 33,600, 12-mm 33,700, 16-25 mm 33,600.
