The benchmark Sensex fell 0.3 per cent early on Tuesday, with financials leading the decline, amid mixed Asian markets.At 9 a.m., the Sensex was down 0.33 per cent at 16,780.35 points, with 21 components declining, after opening a tad higher.The 50-share NSE index was down 0.4 per cent at 5,041.65.
