Music mogul Simon Cowell is reportedly all set to be bestowed with knighthood, as part of the Queen's birthday honours.The 'Britain's Got Talent' and 'X Factor' judge, is expected to be dubbed "Sir" on June 12 for his charity work and generating millions for the British record industry, Mirror reported online.Cowell, notorious as a judge for his blunt and often controversial criticisms, has launched singers like Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle and has been recommended by Gordon Brown before he resigned last week as the Prime Minister.The 50-year-old entrepreneur, dined with Brown and wife Sarah and helped to raise almost 1 million pounds for quake devastated Haiti by getting stars like Robbie Williams and Rod Stewart to help record 'Everybody Hurts'."Gordon Brown was very keen for Simon to get proper recognition for his work. He was particularly impressed by the way Simon responded to his suggestion to release the record for Haiti by dropping everything to ensure it was a success," a source said."And there's also no doubt Simon has brought a great deal of happiness to millions of people with his music and TV shows," the source added.Cowell, whose personal wealth is an estimated 165 million pounds is all set to walk down the aisle with make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy soon.
