BA and union talks adjourned, no deal

Talks between British Airways and the union Unite which represents striking cabin crew were adjourned without the parties reaching an agreement, the mediator Acas said on Friday.Both parties would be contacted to arrange future talks, it added.Cabin crew are in the final day of a five-day strike, protesting over reduced staffing levels and cuts to benefits. It is the latest wave of strikes which began in March.A further 10-days of industrial action are planned over the coming weeks if the talks prove unsuccessful.(Writing by Avril Ormsby; Editing by Michael Holden)
