Kochi, May 25 (PTI) National Aviation Services (Nas Air), the low cost airline of Saudi Arabia, will begin its Kochi-Riyadh sector operations from June 2. The flight frequency on the sector would be three times a week -- Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The 180 seater capacity Air Bus would expectedly land at Kochi at 0550 and return after an hour, the airlines said in a press release here. The non-stop flight will take five hours to reach Kochi from Riyad and vice versa, with 152 passengers on-board. Passengers flying on Nas flight will be allowed to carry 30 kgs as check-in baggage and 7 kgs as hand baggage free of cost. Nas, which began its operations three years ago, currently operates to 17 international destinations. It also offers its services to 12 domestic stops like Al-Afa, Hail, Jeddah, Giza, Medina, Al-Quassim, Quasimah, Tabuk, Caif, Wadi-Al-Dawafir, Dammam and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. The airline would commence its service on the Kozhikode-Riyad sector from July 1 with four flights every week. It will also start its service on the Riyad-Delhi sector in August. The service would be helpful for the Haj pilgrims.
