New Delhi, May 28 (PTI) Army Chief General V K Singh today met Home Minister P Chidambaram and is understood to have discussed training and operational strategies with him in the wake of increasing naxal attacks in the country. Singh was closeted with Chidambaram for about 20 minutes at the Home Minister''s North block office here. The Army chief is supposed to have briefed Chidambaram on the training and operational strategies, sources said. Singh, however, did not disclose what transpired at the meeting and said it was just a courtesy call. He also refused to comment on yesterday''s Armed Forces Tribunal order which indicted a former Lieutenant General for showing bias towards a Brigadier playing down his achievements and for falsifying accounts of battles during the 1999 Kargil conflict. "I was away. I have not read the report," Singh told reporters.
