London, June 18 (ANI): A British woman, who claimed 10,000 pounds in benefits as a single mother, has been busted after she appeared on Wife Swap with her fiance.Kelly Jones, 23, who has two children, illegally pocketed 4,976 pounds in housing benefits, 3,614 pounds in income support and 1,171 pounds discount on her council tax bill, after she failed to tell authorities that she has been living with her bus driver lover for 18 months.She was caught when she went on Channel 4's Wife Swap with Steve Jones who she married in April this year.Jones appeared before Bristol JPs on June 17 to admit a string of charges for illegally claiming benefits."Mrs Jones said she had not declared him at the address because his wages were too low to pay their rent and live," the Sun quoted prosecutor Lynne Harvey as saying."She panicked at the thought of losing their home. She said she knew once the TV programme was aired she would be caught," Harvey revealed.Jones and her husband were both released on bail for pre-sentence reports but both have been warned they could be jailed.
