Formula One championship leader Jenson Button retired from the Monaco Grand Prix after just two laps on Sunday with a suspected engine failure.The Briton, reigning world champion and winner in Monaco last year with Brawn GP, parked his smoking McLaren at the Sainte Devote corner after dropping to 11th place from eighth at the start.The safety car had already been deployed after Germany's Nico Hulkenberg crashed his Williams in the tunnel on the opening lap, spreading debris across the track.Button led Ferrari's Fernando Alonso by three points ahead of the showcase race, sixth of the season.
