Canadian telecoms software firm Bridgewater Systems Corp said on Tuesday it had opened a research and development centre in India, its first such facility outside Canada, to serve customers in the Asia-Pacific region.The company, which sells products to ease network congestion, did not disclose financial investment details for the centre on the outskirts of New Delhi.Bridgewater said the centre would serve customers such as Tata Teleservices in India, Telstra and Hutchison in Australia, SmarTone-Vodafone in Hong Kong, and Global Mobile and Tatung in Taiwan.(Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy; Editing by Ranjit Gangadharan)(For more business news on Reuters Money visit http://www.reutersmoney.in)
