Lahore, May 9 (ANI): Chatting with girls along the boundary line has emerged as one of the prime reasons why seven senior Pakistan cricketers were banned and fined following the team's disastrous tour of Australia.According to the report of the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) committee, which was formed to look into the reasons behind the team's winless tour DownUnder, senior players, including captain Mohammed Yousuf, had violated the players' code of conduct during the tour. The report, which was made public recently, said that Muhammad Yousuf, who retired in protest against the PCB's indefinite ban, had called six players to his room and forced them to take an oath on the Holy Quran that they would not accept Younis Khan as captain. The report also said Aaqib Javed, who was the team's assistant manager during the Australia tour, had told the inquiry committee that none of the players favoured Younis Khan as a captain."Younis was not liked by any player and they were at least six players who were vocal against him. Younis was an arrogant captain who didn't listen to anyone," Aaqib had told the committee, headed by PCB Chief Operating Officer (COO) Wasim Bari.It may be noted that the inquiry committee's recommendations had led to the board to ban and fine both Younis and Yousuf, besides Shoaib Malik, Rana Naved Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal.
