New Delhi, May 9 (IANS) The national capital experienced a hot day Sunday with the maximum temperature at 39 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.'Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius, (one degree below the average for this time of the year),' an Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.The minimum temperature was 27.5 degrees Celsius, two degrees above average for this time of the year, he said.According to IMD, the national capital can expect a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius Monday.'Delhi can expect a clear sky Monday with no prediction of rain,' the IMD official said.
