Former senior UK police chief Ronnie Flanagan has been appointed chairman of the International Cricket Council's Anti-Corruption and Security Unit, the ICC said on Tuesday.The 61-year-old former Home Office Chief Inspector of Constabulary for England, Wales and Northern Ireland will succeed Paul Condon, a former Metropolitan Police chief, at the end of June.Flanagan is an advisor to the Abu Dhabi Police Force as well as contributing to the security and safety plan for the Football Association's bid to host the 2018 World Cup in England.(Reporting by Neil Maidment; Editing by Miles Evans; to query or comment on this story email sportsfeedback@thomsonreuters.com)
