Forwards set up CAC win

Riding high on the performance of their forwards, Central Air Command scored an emphatic 5-1 win over Air Headquarters in a league match of the Air Force Hockey Championship being played at Sports Complex, Sector 42 on Tuesday. The winning team was in control through out the match and scored the win through some fine sallies by their forwards.The match started on an aggressive note as Air Headquarters scored the opening goal in the 13th minute of the match. Down by one goal, Central Air Command stepped up the tempo and their efforts soon paid dividends when Cpl Navinder scored the equaliser in the 34th minute of the match. After the first goal, Central Air Command took control of the match and their forwards constantly made individual sallies into the opposition half. Prabhakar scored the second goal for the Central Air Command in the 43 rd minute before Lovepreet scored the third goal for his team in the 56th minute of the match. Lovepreet again scored in the next minute of the match before Prabhakar scored another goal in the 67th minute of the match. Earlier in the first match of the day, South Eastern Command played a 2-2 draw with Training Command.
