New Delhi, May 28 (PTI) Freight charges for the ten metric tonne pay load section declined in the local transport market today owing to excess position of trucks. Transporters said insufficient movements of cargo along with easy availability of trucks, pulled down some of centres freight rates. Delhi to Chennai, Bangalore and Mysore freight rates slipped by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 41,500, Rs 42,000 and Rs 44,000 respectively. Rates to Pondicherry, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram also moved down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 45,000, Rs 50,000 and Rs 58,000, respectively. Goa, Guwahati, Patna and Vijaywada freights also fell by Rs 1,000 each at Rs 34000, Rs 40,000, Rs 18,000 and Rs 33,000. Following are today''s rates for load of 10 per tonnes: Ahmedabad 12,000 Hyderabad 31,000 Mumbai 19,000 Vijayawada 33,000 Baroda 15,000 Chennai 41,500 Pune 20,000 Bangalore 42,000 Surat 17,000 Mysore 44,000 Kanpur 10,000 Pondicherry 45,000 Kolkata 23,000 Coimbatore 48,000 Ludhiana 11,000 Kochi 50,000 Chandigarh 9,500 Thiruvananthapuram 58,000 Jaipur 9,000 Goa 34,000 Indore 12,500 Gwalior 8,500 Patna 18,000 Guwahati 40,000.
