New Delhi, May 17 (PTI) BJP President Nitin Gadkari today left for a ten-day tour of Europe during which he aims to study the latest developments in renewable energy. "BJP President, Nitin Gadkari, left for Europe today. Among other things, his tour also aims at studying the latest developments in renewable energy, solar technology and bio-fuel," a statement from the party said. Gadkari will visit the European Centre for Renewable Energy (EEE) in Gussing town of Austria. "He will be received by the Mayor of Gussing, Mr Peter Vadasz, who will make a presentation to the BJP president," the statement said. Gadkari will also visit some places in Germany for similar purposes and will return on May 27. Gadkari''s NGO ''Purti'' runs several renewable energy and bio-fuel projects which use ethanol and bio-gas to generate power. It is also involved in solar energy projects.
