Gur remains quiet on less buying

New Delhi, May 28 (PTI) Lethargic conditions developed in the wholesale gur (jaggery) market at the national capital today, following restricted arrivals against sporadic offtake. Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also finished at last levels on some support. Marketmen said reduced arrivals and sporadic offtake fixed the gur prices. Following are today''s quotations in Rs per quintal: Chakku Rs 2,900-3,000, Pedi Rs 2,900-3,000 and Dhayya 3,050-3,100, shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200. In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,075-2,125, chakku Rs 2,500-2,700 and Khurpa N.T. In Muradnagar: Pedi 2,700-2,750 and Dhaya 2,750-2,800. PTI SDG RS RET.
