Srinagar, May 17 (PTI) Chairman of hardline faction of Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, today accused the Centre of not taking up a plebiscite to settle the Kashmir issue. "Census operation being conducted in the state will not end the miseries of Kashmiris. This nation has been demanding a plebiscite for the last 60 years but the Centre is avoiding it to change the Muslim majority charter of the state," Geelani told a public rally in Kupwara, 100 kms from here. "During the census, non-residents will be included which is the part of the plan," he alleged.
