Indian Bank launches online redressal system

Chennai, May 17 (PTI) Public sector lender Indian Bank today launched an online redressal system for addressing customer grievances. The system would offer response within 24 hours of lodging of complaint. The service was launched by Reserve Bank of India Regional Director K R Ananda and Indian Bank Managing Director T M Bhasin. "With this new e-enabled service, the customers can lodge their complaints online by accessing the bank''s website," Indian Bank CMD Bhasin said. The complaint would be attended online and the updated redressal information would be sent by e-mail or SMS as per the customer''s request, he added.
