New Delhi, May 17 (PTI) An LIC agent, who used to attend functions at prominent cultural hot spots and allegedly steal mobile phones and laptops, was arrested in the national capital, police said today. Rajesh Sharma (42), a science graduate from Delhi University, was apprehended last Friday from near Nehru Park in Chanakyapuri when he was allegedly trying to sell a stolen laptop. A mobile phone stolen from Rabindra Bhawan Library and a stolen laptop were recovered from his possession when he was arrested, Additional Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Shankar Dass said. Whenever he got an opportunity, he would steal the laptops and mobile phones and immediately leave the place," Dass said. Following his interrogation, three more laptops, a Handy Cam and a Video-Voice recorder stolen from different places have also been recovered.
