Malkangiri (Orissa), May 16 (PTI) Suspected Maoists gunned down a police constable in Orissa''s Malkangiri district today, police said. Ramachandra Rao, who was posted at the police outpost at Padia, was on duty at the weekly tribal ''haat'' (market) when three ultras shot him dead, they said, adding the trio was in plain clothes. The incident sparked off panic in the area.
