Maoists kill six locals in Chhattisgarh

Rajnandgaon/ Raipur, May 17(ANI): Maoists killed six locals including a village head in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh state on Sunday. The rebels abducted the locals earlier this week on suspicion of being police informers. Their bodies were found with their throats slit in a forest area in Uchapur village of Rajnandgaon. Chhattisgarh state has been a hotbed of Maoist activities in the recent past.
