Kolkata, May 16 (PTI) Metro rail services on the newly extended stretch between Mahanayak Uttam Kumar and Kabi Nazrul stations were disrupted for over three hours today after an empty train derailed. The rear wheels of the last compartment went off the rails when the train was in the process of shifting to the down line from the up at the yard next to the Kabi Nazrul station after the passengers disembarked at about 1500 hours, Metro Railway sources said. The services were suspended along the stretch from 1515 hours and resumed at 1830 hours after the derailed rake was put back on the rails.
