Chennai, May 10 (PTI) The Tamil Nadu police will soon have an ''Organised Crime Intelligence'' unit to tackle extremists-related crime, the state government said today. Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin made the announcement in the Assembly while replying to the debate on grants for the Home Department. The proposed unit will focus on tackling and controlling extremists-related crimes, he said without elaborating. Among other announcements for the year 2010-11, Stalin, replying on behalf of his father and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, who holds the Home portfolio, announced that cyber crime wings would be created at Coimbatore, Madurai and Tiruchirappalli.
