Mumbai, May 10 (PTI) IT firm Prithvi Information Solutions today said it has acquired US-based Percentix Inc, a business intelligence consulting company that specialises in enterprise performance management. The acquisition will further strengthen the business intelligence offerings, a key growth area for Prithvi, a press statement here said. However, the company did not disclose the deal amount. Prithvi has been in the business intelligence space for over five years and its strategy is based on its success in platform competencies and success stories such as Microstrategy and Cognos. Prithvi''s expertise in developing mathematical and statistical data analytical solutions is key to solving customer problems from a CXO-level view. "The acquisition is an important milestone for the business intelligence practice at Prithvi. Business intelligence is one of the core areas of our future strategy to make Prithvi a USD 1 billion revenue company," Prithvi Information Solutions'' Senior Vice-President and Head of IT Services Amitava Lahiri, said.
