Ahmedabad, May 16 (ANI): This does not seem to a golden time for jewellery customers across India. The gold market opened at doller 1,248.95 on Sunday, well above the all-time high of doller1,126 in March 2007.Ironically, this has coincided with the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, which is considered the best time to buy gold in India. This time round, the skyrocketing rates of gold have severely constrained the budget of customers who are already overburdened by rising prices of essential commodities.
