Nagpur, May 10 (PTI) Union Minister Subodhkant Sahai today demanded immediate intervention of Jharkhand Governor in the wake of the collapse of constitutional machinery in the state. "It is high time the Governor should intervene.the Shibhu Soren ministry is struggling for life since last 20 days and the real image of BJP as an opportunist has emerged," Sahai, who was on a day''s visit here, told reporters. The Congress leader from Jharkhand said a pack of power hungry BJP leaders are desperate to form the government and install its chief minister. They are all set to suppress aspirations of regional parties like JMM. The mineral rich state has gone from bad to worse during the BJP''s rule for the last eight years, he said. Jharkhand, which when formed had a surplus budget, power and mineral, is now on the brink of financial collapse. Only three districts in the state were Naxal-affected at the time of its formation, but the rebels have spread their tentacles in 24 districts during the BJP rule, the minister said. "It''s mockery of democracy.BJP is indulging in delay tactics in forming government and even after five rounds of discussions, is unable to form the government," he said. PTI JOE VRK.
