Soaring temperatures hit hay crops,disrupt normal life in Amritsar

Amritsar/ Hisar,May 28 (ANI):The entire hay crop grown in the Amritsar region of Punjab has dried up due to the severe heat wave sweeping across the country.Soaring temperatures during the month of May have dried the fields and the irregular supply of electricity caused further problems for the farmers.Farmers engaged in the cultivation of fodder for their livestock are experiencing low yield.
