London, Jun 18 (PTI) Somdev Devvarman qualified for the men''s doubles event of the Wimbledon along with partner Treat Huey Conrad, taking the number of Indians competing in the competition to a very impressive five. Somdev and his Philippines'' partner Conard stunned top seeds from Poland Tomasz Bednarek and Mateusz Kowalczyk 7-6 (8) 7-5 in the second and final round of the qualifying event, last night. This is will be Somdev''s second successive appearance in the main drwa of the Wimbledon doubles event. Last year, he made it to the main draw along with South African Kevin Anderson. Harsh Mankad had also booked his berth in doubles main draw of the grass court Grand Slam, yesterday, along with Ilija Bozoljac. Senior pros Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi and Indian Davis Cupper Rohan Boppana are automatic selection in the main draw by virtue of their superior rankings.
