New Delhi, May 17 (PTI) Communications firm Spectranet today said it has partnered with Drishti-Soft to offer solutions to BPOs and enterprise customers through cloud computing. "The hosted contact center business is witnessing a huge growth in India. The overall hosted revenues are set to grow at 34.1 per cent CAGR by 2013," Head-Marketing and Customer Solutions Spectranet Sunando Bhattacharya said. He added that there was a huge potential for call center solutions over a hosted platform from verticals such as Telecom, BFSI, Hospitality and Travel, Healthcare, Entertainment and Logistics. Spectranet, which also offers internet services, was initially owned by Punj Lloyd. It later became part of the Shyam Group in June 2008 and now offers VoIP services to both enterprise and retail customers in the country. "The BPO market in India is all set to touch USD six billion by 2012.Over 34 per cent of all BPOs will be using the hosted model within the next decade," he said. Cloud computing, which offers access to software and other business solutions through internet, reduces the cost of setting up IT infrastructure as well as maintenance and upgrades. "On-demand BPO solutions not only help improve the customer experience but also help organisations improve efficiency and reduce turn-around time and costs," Vipin Jethi, Vice President Sales, Drishti said.
