Stranded Indians evacuated from Kyrgyzstan: Vishnu Prakash

New Delhi, June 16, (ANI): Vishnu Prakash, spokesperson of India's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday said that the Indian embassy in Bishkek with the support of Kyrgyz authorities, has managed to safely evacuate all Indian nationals. He also said that the Indian students would be brought back home through chartered flights. At least 170 people have been killed in the cities of Osh and Jalalabad in the deadliest ethnic clashes in Kyrgyzstan in 20 years. Witnesses said gangs armed with automatic rifles, iron bars and machetes set fire to houses and shot fleeing residents.
