Taliban justice: shoots down man in public view of 200 in North Waziristan

Islamabad, Jun.17 (ANI): In yet another incident showcasing the Taliban style of justice, an alleged murdered was executed in public in the volatile North Waziristan.According to reports, 28-year old Wahid Khan was shot dead in front of over 200 people in Dattakhel tehsil of North Waziristan for allegedly killing a tribesman earlier this month."They (Taliban) fired three bullets in his chest," The Daily Times quotes an eyewitness, as saying.This was the second such instance in the region in less than a month.The Taliban controls a large part of tribal region across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border and has enforced a strict form of Islamic law called 'sharia' in the region, and often carry out such public executions.
