Trains to run on changed route

Ranchi, Jun 16 (PTI) With CPI(Maoist) reportedly extending its 48-hour shutdown of Jharkhand, three trains will continue to run via Gomo while the Ranchi-Delhi Garib Rath has been rescheduled. Railway sources said both up and down Hatia-Jammu Tawi Express, Ranchi-Banaras Inter-city Express and Swarnajayanti Express will run via Gomo. The Ranchi-Delhi Garib Rath, originally scheduled for departure on June 18, will now leave at 3.30 pm the next day, the sources said. The shutdown by the Maoists in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa and Chhatisgarh had ended last night but there were reports that it had been extended in Jharkhand. Police, however, did not confirm whether the shut down had been extended by the Maoists.
