Meerut, May 28 (PTI) Two people, including a woman, were killed and twenty three injured when a bus in which they were travelling met with an accident after hitting a pillar, police said today. The passengers were on their way to Haridwar on the occasion of Budh Purnima yesterday. A man sitting on the roof of the bus was thrown to the ground and died on the spot, while the woman died on way to hospital. The injured were rushed to hospital. The driver escaped after abandoning the bus, police said. PTI CORR AVT RDM SG.
