Two women arrested for burglary

New Delhi, May 10 (PTI) Two women were arrested for their allegedly involved in five cases of theft and burglary in the national capital, police said today. Neelam (36) and Bindu (35) were apprehended with the help of locals on May seven from a DDA flat in Sector-3 of Rohini when they were allegedly trying commit a theft there. They had opened the main grill lock with the help of a master key and entered the house by breaking the locks with the help of an iron rod. When they were searching for costly articles in the house, a local resident noticed them and informed the police. "The accused used to recee the houses with house breaking equipment during the day time. When most of the residents were inside their houses due to scorching heat and no one used to have an eye on neighbouring houses which were locked. "They used to break the locks with the help of an iron rod, screw drivers and master keys and decamp with valuable," a police officer said.
