London, May 9 (ANI): Legendary heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson has revealed that he wanted to 'sock' his first wife Robin Givens when she accused him of domestic violence during an interview with Barbara's Walters in 1988.Reportedly, Tyson was too high on drugs to respond or react to his wife's allegations during the interview. The 43-year-old great was married to Givens for eight months. He sat silently during the interview while Givens made fun of him and also accused him of hitting her.Tyson had earlier confessed that he wanted to 'sock' his then-wife for what she said during the interview, but feared that he would just lose his temper in front of the cameras, reports The Daily Express."I truly wanted to sock her but I just didn't do it. I was young at the time. I have socked her before and she socked me before, but it was just that kind of relationship, you know," Tyson said.On reuniting with Walters on U.S. talk show The View for the first time since that interview, Tyson admitted he was going through his "junkie" stage at the time and was likely to have been on heavy medication."I was a young kid then. I was just bushwhacked there," Tyson said. (ANI)
