UP Cong lawmakers blame Chattisgarh govt for maoist strikes

Allahbad, May 10 (ANI): Supporters and activists of the Congress party gathered in Allahabad on Sunday to stage a mass protest against the recent landmine attacks on paramilitary personnel in Chhattisgarh by the Maoists. The protesting Congressmen raised anti- Maoist slogans and also burnt an effigy of Chhattisgarh state chief, Raman Singh. They blamed lack of intelligence, surveillance and proper leadership in the state for the frequent Maoist strikes and ambush of paramilitary personnel.
