A youth was arrested on Sunday for issuing life threats to Varun Gandhi, the BJP parliamentarian from Pilibhit.The FIR was lodged following a complaint of Anand Chaudhry, personal secretary of Varun Gandhi."As per the complaint, Gandhi received two anonymous calls on May 11 around 11:30 pm. The caller used abusive words and issued life threats," said Ashok Kumar Raghav, Superintendent of Police, Pilibhit.The police traced the caller, who was identified as Sarvesh Kumar of Maheshapur village under Didiakala police area. Kumar is unemployed and his father is a farmer.Raghav said a Non Cognizable Report (NCR) on charges of criminal intimidation was registered on Saturday and Kumar was arrested on Sunday under Section 151 CrPC(breach of peace).
