Aluminium futures marginally up on domestic demand

New Delhi, July 23 (PTI) Buoyed by gains in global market and good domestic demand, aluminium futures continued its upward march and rose by Rs 0.15 or 0.16 per cent, to Rs 95.75 per kg today. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in August contract edged higher by Rs 0.15 or 0.16 per cent, to Rs 95.75 per kg, with a turnover of one lot. Likewise, the delivery in July month contracts also traded Rs 0.10 or 0.11 per cent higher, at Rs 94.85 per kg, with a turnover of 7 lots. Market analysts said gains in most of metal prices overseas and good demand at domestic markets mainly supported the rise in aluminium prices at futures market here.
