Mumbai, Jun 17 (PTI) Actor Nikhil Dwivedi, who will be seen in Mani Ratnam''s ''Raavan'', says that the length of the role does not matter as just being a part of it makes an impact. "I think any one who is associated with Mani Ratnam''s film benefits. Every role that an actor plays in his film gets recognition as lead actors. Also, the character even if it is lengthy or short has an impact," Nikhil, who will share screen with Bachchan junior and Aishwaryra Rai, told PTI. "Every character in Mani''s film had a huge impact on the audience. For instance in ''Guru'' despite Abhi-Ash in the lead, R Madhavan, Vidya Balan and Mithun Chakraborty had made a great impact. I hope the same happens with me in ''Raavan''," Nikhil, who made his debut in 2008 in ''My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves'', said. Directed by Mani Ratnam, ''Raavan'' starring Abhishek Bachchan, Vikram and Aishwarya Bachchan in the lead will release tomorrow. Abhishek plays the role of Beera, an outlaw, who kidnaps Aishwarya, wife of Vikram, a police officer. Nikhil, who essays the role of a cop says, "I play the role of a young, honest, upright police officer and as he has the authority he will ensure that good prevails over evil and right wins over wrong." The film also stars Govinda, Ravi Kishan, Tejaswini Kolhapure and Priyamani in key supporting roles. (MORE) PTI KKP RRN.
