Patna, May 10 (PTI) C P Thakur was today formally elected as Bihar BJP president after the 272-member state council endorsed his nomination as party chief. Thakur, a physician and Padmashree awardee, has been elected to the post for three years, central observer of the party Kaptan Singh Solanki said. Since no other nomination was filed for the post, Thakur was declared elected unanimously.
