New Delhi, May 4 (PTI) Unidentified men burgled a chemist shop in south Delhi and decamped with Rs seven lakh early this morning, police said. The incident took place in Vasant Vihar and came to light at about 9 am when owner V K Gupta came to open his shop. The shop was found broke open and police were informed. He claimed Rs seven lakh which was kept in the cash box was missing. Everything else was intact. Police suspect the role of an insider as no other shop was burgled in the area. "No other shop was burgled. Nothing else other than cash was missing from the shop. Somebody, who knew that there was huge cash is behind the incident," a senior police official said. There are six persons working in the chemist shop. A case has been registered.
