New Delhi, May 17 (PTI) A 45-year-old Delhi Police Head Constable today allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in the Old Police Lines complex in north Delhi, police said. Subhash Chandran, hailing from Kerala and posted with Police Control Room (PCR) Communication Cell in the central Zone, was found hanging from a neem tree near his barrack in Civil Lines by a colleague around 11 am. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. The body has been kept in Subzi Mandi mortuary and his family members have been informed about the incident. A suicide note was recovered from him in which he claimed that he was committing suicide on his own will and no one should be held responsible.
