New Delhi, May 28 (PTI) Prices of groundnut and palmolein oils rose up to Rs 100 per quintal, in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today after rising demand from vanaspati millers and retailers, driven by ongoing marriage season. Firming trend at producing regions further fuelled the uptrend. Marketmen said restricted arrivals against good demand due to marriage season pushed up wholesale groundnut and palmolein prices. In the edible section, groundnut mill delivery oil rose by Rs 100 to 7,100 per quintal, while groundnut solvent refined gained by Rs 10 to Rs 1,160-1,170 per tin. Palmolein (rbd) also attracted traders attention and moved up by Rs 20 to Rs 4,240 per quintal. .
