Srinagar, May 8 (PTI) A youth was shot dead by Hizbul Mujahideen militants in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, a year after his militant brother surrendered before the police. Mohammad Latief Goghi (27) was shot dead last night by four Hizbul Mujahideen militants inside his house at Akhal village near here, a police spokesman said today. The brother of the deceased youth Dilawar Goghi was a Hizb militant who had surrendered before the police last year, he said. The assailants have been identified as Mushtaq Khan alias "killer" of Urpash, Ghulam Nabi War alias "Janbaz" of Hanyan-Kangan, Shabir Chopan of Akhal and Ayub Kallar of Najwan, the spokesman said, adding a hunt has been launched to nab them. The youth was apparently killed to avenge the surrender of his brother, the spokesman said.
